Big News Coming Out of North Carolina for PS2


We are honored to have been selected to attend USA Baseball’s 16u Team Championship this summer and we couldn’t be more proud as an organization. This is an incredible opportunity for our players and is definitely the marquee event on our summer schedule. Pro Scouts, the biggest schools in the country – they’ll all there there. The Benefits of Being a PS2 Academy Athlete:

  • Access to our 36,000 square foot facility with in-season and off-season programs for all athletes.
  • One team per age group from 9u – College. Teams are put together after our detailed tryout process that selects the best players for our program.
  • Players are automatically members of the exclusive Marruci Honor the Game Club which includes:
    • Custom PS2 uniform package
    • Discounts on Marucci gear and apparel
    • Access into Marucci Tournaments (for high school level teams)
  • PS2 Academy is also an affiliate of All-Star Baseball which includes:
    • Access into showcase tournaments throughout the country with college coaches guaranteed to be in attendance
    • Regular recruiting meetings at PS2's facility with college coaches of all levels and specialized recruiting coordinators
  • Our Club Team Packages consist of:
    • Weekly practices
    • Spring & Summer League
    • Independent Games with college coaches in attendance (for our high school level teams)
    • Elite Level Tournaments such as USA Nationals, Perfect Game BCS and WWBA, Diamond Nation Showcase Series, and PBR at Lake Point, GA, Prospect Select and Select Fest.
    • Private Showcase Events for our high school teams
    • Our younger teams go to destination tournaments around the country such as, ESPN's Wide World of Sports in Disney World, Cooperstown Dreams Park, Triple Crown Sports (South Carolina), Sports at the Beach (Rehoboth Beach, DE)
    • We also specialize in the developmental side for all ages, so players have the best opportunity to reach their full potential.

Since our inaugural team in 2016, 98% of all our high school players have received scholarships and have gone on to play at the collegiate level. We also have alumni and trainers playing at the professional level in various organizations.

About The Academy

PS2 Academy is the club team division of PS2 Athletics. We have baseball club teams at the 12u - 18u levels and we will be expanding into other sports in the near future. The Academy houses our club teams and includes a comprehensive training program that provides benefits for athletes of all skill levels. The Academy’s goal is to prepare our players for the next level, wherever they are in their baseball journey.

Our 12 Month & In-Season Training Programs

PS2 Academy offers athletes a year-round training program that incorporates everything the serious athlete needs to excel and grow.

For our younger athletes – this program allows them to start learning the benefits of a training routing/regimen early on in their careers. It also helps them build name recognition early on. When they get to high school, they will be prepared for, and accustomed to, the work ethic that leads to success.

For our every-day athletes – this program maximizes the skills they already have and allows them to grow in areas that aren’t fully developed yet. They will learn to make the most of showcases and the college visits they attend. They will begin to focus on their future and prepare to compete at that next level.

For our elite athletes – this program capitalizes on the opportunities that go along with their advanced skill sets. We focus heavily on getting our high school athletes recruited and our inaugural class of graduates in 2018 received hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarship offers this year. In addition, one of our seniors was drafted in the 9th round by Milwaukee in the 2018 MLB draft.
